About the Career Logician

Victoria is the founder of The Career Logician and an experienced career strategist specialising in supporting job-ready graduates into meaningful, future-proof careers.

With a multidisciplinary background across UX research, fintech, brand strategy, marketing, and creative industries, she brings a rare combination of analytical rigour, industry insight, and human-centred guidance.

Her careers work is underpinned by a research based approach, practical job-market expertise, and a deep understanding of the lived experiences that shape career outcomes — particularly for students and professionals from underrepresented backgrounds.

Through The Career Logician, she partners with universities and organisations to deliver clarity, confidence, and employment-focused results.

Impact and results

As a Black British woman who has navigated both corporate and creative spaces, Victoria understands the systemic and cultural barriers that many graduates face.

We have helped clients secure roles across:

  • finance & banking

  • marketing & creative industries

  • technology & UX research

  • business operations & strategy

Our clients include job ready graduates/emerging professionals — often achieving results within weeks to months.

We have supported clients who are:

  • first-generation university students

  • ethnically diverse

  • women entering male-dominated sectors

  • neurodiverse

  • career-switchers with unconventional paths

Why the Career Logician?

Most career support is still:

  • outdated

  • not inclusive or culturally aware

  • not adapted to emerging industries

  • missing practical, step-by-step strategy

After years navigating the career landscape herself — from career fairs to mentoring programmes — Victoria noticed that much of the advice available did not meet the needs of graduates and emerging professionals

Students were motivated, but unsupported. Diverse students especially lacked guidance that reflected their realities.

The Career Logician was created to fill this gap: practical, personalised, research-driven career development grounded in real job-market expertise.

What makes us different?

Here are a few reasons why you should partner with us:

  • Research-driven methodology — not guesswork.

  • Tailored strategies — no generic advice or one-size-fits-all templates.

  • Genuine current industry insight — from someone who has worked across multiple sectors and within emerging modern industries.

  • Inclusive and culturally informed support — understanding the nuances that affect student confidence and employability.

  • Employment-first mindset — the goal is outcomes, not theory.

Our approach

Victoria’s methodology mirrors her UX research mindset: structured, investigative, and outcome-driven.

  • This involves understanding:

    • strengths, skills, and psychometric assessments

    • academic background

    • personal goals

    • challenges, blockers, mental frameworks

    • job-market fit and industry alignment

For career discovery clients, this includes deeper strengths, personality and preference work. For job-ready clients, it focuses on identifying blockers preventing interviews and offers.

  • We build a clear, tailored roadmap that might include:

    • role suitability analysis

    • industry-specific positioning

    • CV and LinkedIn optimisation

    • job-search strategy

    • interview preparation

    • structured weekly accountability

  • The goal is not just clarity — it’s employment.

Victoria uses practical tools, templates, and sourcing strategies that lead to measurable outcomes: interviews, offers, improved confidence, and accelerated job-readiness.
